How do you handle changing requirements mid-project?

Requirements change — that’s the reality of building software. We use an agile approach with two-week sprints specifically because it accommodates change. New priorities can be brought into the next sprint. If a change is significant enough to affect timeline or budget, we flag it transparently and agree the tradeoffs before proceeding.

Yes — and it’s one of our preferred engagement models. We can augment your team with specific expertise, lead an initiative your internal team doesn’t have capacity for, or work fully embedded within your engineering team. We adapt to whatever model creates the most value.

You do — 100%. All source code, documentation, and intellectual property created during the engagement is transferred to you at the end of the project. We retain no rights, licenses, or dependencies on our own tooling.

Security is built into our development process — not added at the end. We implement secure coding practices, automated vulnerability scanning, dependency monitoring, secrets management, and security-focused code reviews throughout the project. We also conduct a dedicated security review before every production launch.

We offer several post-launch engagement models: a time-limited hypercare period immediately after launch, a monthly retainer for ongoing development and support, or a formal handover to your internal team. We’ll recommend the right model based on your team’s capability and the complexity of the system.

Integration is almost always part of the picture and we plan for it from day one. We assess your existing systems in discovery, design clean integration patterns, and implement them with proper error handling, monitoring, and documentation. We’ve integrated with hundreds of third-party platforms and legacy systems across every industry we serve.

We work on both fixed-price and time-and-materials models depending on the engagement type. For well-defined scopes — like an MVP or a specific feature set — we prefer fixed-price with a clearly defined scope document. For ongoing development, iterative product work, or less defined scopes, a monthly retainer or time-and-materials arrangement works better. We’ll recommend the right model during our initial conversation.
